Draught
Proofing
Draught proofing is a tidy
and efficient way to stop draughts, keep out dirt and noise, stop windows
rattling in the wind and reduce heat loss in your home. Draught proofing
is also inexpensive. To draught proof both internal and external windows
and doors Homeseal install high quality BS approved door brush seals which
are encased in aluminium holders, and fitted to the bottom of the door.
The lengths of seals are cut and fitted so they push up against the joints
in windows and doors to stop draughts. Letterbox seals are also fitted.
In an uninsulated house the proportion of heat loss through the doors/windows
is 10-15%, installing Homeseal’s draught proofing can reduce heat
loss significantly — giving you a saving of up to 25% on your heating
bill
